Disclosure Debut Album release 31st of May

The young UK producer siblings, Guy and Howard Lawrence, are aged 18 and 21 respectively and have made  serious waves since putting up a track on Myspace a couple of years ago.  Breaking out of the club and dance charts with last year’s single ‘Latch’,  the Lawrence bros proved it wasn’t a fluke with lead single  ‘White Noise (ft. AlunaGeorge)’, which entered the UK singles chart at #2 on release and has remained a Top 15 single for the consecutive 10 weeks since its release.

Testament to their consistency, Disclosure’s current single ‘You & Me’ (ft.Eliza Doolittle) continues to garnering worldwide airplay and attention.  It was the highest new entry in the UK official single chart at #10 and has now moved up to the A-List on BBC Radio 1.

The international story on Disclosure is on fire with the duo fresh from a massive US tour including performances at Coachella, Bowery Ballroom with TNGHT and Julio Bashmore, and their upcoming UK tour all but sold-out.

Check out the following remixes and video, which have been filtering out over the past couple of weeks

Ai Weiwei / Music Video “Dumbass”

Chinese dissident artist Ai Weiwei has released a foul-mouthed heavy rock song, Dumbass, with a video parodying his months in police detention. Weiwei is known for his controversial art projects and as a political activist, he has been highly and openly critical of the Chinese Government’s stance on democracy and human rights. He has investigated government corruption and cover-ups, in particular the Sichuan schools corruption scandal following the collapse of so-called “tofu-skin schools”. So this music video is no surprise in the long line of political activism meeting arts culture check the video out above.
